Mischa Maisky’s deeply personal, emotionally searing music making, encouraged by his teachers Mstislav Rostropovich and Gregor Piatigorsky, has touched the hearts of audiences worldwide for more than half a century. The celebrated cellist is joined by violinist son Sascha and pianist daughter Lily, who have performed together as the Maisky Trio for almost 20 years.
