Overview
Vadym Kholodenko shot to fame in 2013 as Gold Medallist of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. The artist, described by The Herald as ‘simply one of the best classical pianists working today, a superb technician and the most stylish – if least flamboyant – of players’, combines transcendent works by Beethoven and Liszt with impassioned Preludes by Borys Lyatoshinsky (1895-1968).
