Overview

Youth proved no barrier to the Leonkoro Quartet taking nine prizes at the 2022 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition. The Berlin-based ensemble, founded in 2019, continues to entrance with its lionhearted artistry, winning stage presence and captivating musicianship. Its second Wigmore Hall outing this season culminates in Beethoven’s Op. 131, seven movements that coalesce to form a boundless creative universe.
