Overview

Known for his breathtaking virtuosity and lyrical, expressive playing, Ning Feng offers a programme of seductive works composed in Paris between 1885 and 1943. He opens with Poulenc’s contemplative sonata, written in memory of the visionary poet Federico García Lorca, executed by nationalists soon after the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War 90 years ago.
