Overview

Benjamin Hulett and Anna Markland dive deeply into the stream of English song to reveal its infinite variety and capacity for expressing humour as well as pathos. They open with the pastoral charm of 'Chopcherry', from Warlock’s first cycle of Peterisms, offer a seductive trio of songs by Rebecca Clarke, and close with pieces that pay homage to the long creative life and art of Stephen Wilkinson (1919-2021).
