Simone McIntosh, Song Prize finalist in the 2023 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, and Nathaniel LaNasa, a committed champion of contemporary music, take a voyage into the mystical world of Olivier Messiaen’s cycle of songs of love and death, first performed 80 years ago.
