    Overview

This first concert explores the more intimate side of David Fennessy’s music – from a quiet tribute to playwright Tom McGrath (The first thing, the last thing, and everything in between) to a piece reflecting on his daughter Nara’s experiences during the COVID pandemic (Nara Dreamland). With music that moves between solo piano, guitar duos, and cello layered with electronics, it’s a programme that draws you into Fennessy’s finely tuned world of detail and resonance.
