Overview

Jessica Duchen is the author of Myra Hess: National Treasure, the first biography of the pianist in 50 years. The composer Nigel Hess is Dame Myra’s great-nephew. Together they discuss her life and work, with extracts from her recordings and footage of her National Gallery wartime concerts, which became the stuff of legend.
