Winner of several competitions– including the cello division ofthe International TchaikovskyCompetition in Moscow in 2015 –the young Romanian cellist joinswith Hough and clarinettist Collinsfor a programme placing Brahmsbeside his mentor Schumann andin between them a work by theneglected Carl Frühling (1868-1937).
