Overview
In this programme Denk offers a prodigious set of pieces by Ligeti that went straight into the repertoire, and of which he has made a notable recording, while the quartet offers three early (1933) lightweight pieces by Britten. They come together for one of the most popular works for the piano quintet medium, and Mozart's K493.
