Overview

Popular in the 18th Century, 'Conversation Piece' portraits depicted small groups of family or friends in domestic or garden settings. Six Samling Artists invite you to enter the world of the Conversation Piece, revealing in song what might have been said and what was left unsaid across time and space.

The artists giving this recital are all alumni of the acclaimed Samling Artist Programme, a life-changing residential masterclass course for early-career singers and pianists, led by world-renowned singers, conductors, pianists, coaches and actors.
