Overview

Croatian pianist Vedran Janjanin studied at the Conservatory of Music and Art in Vienna and the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, before joining the postgraduate programme at the Royal Academy of Music. An award-winning musician, Vedran’s touring has encompassed concertos and recitals in Italy, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, Hungary and Germany as well as the UK, and his Wigmore programme shows his particular affinity with the fiery poetry of Skryabin, as well as including celebrated Croatian composers: Davor Bobić’s Hommage à Skryabin, and a piece by Vedran’s sister, the composer and jazz musician Lana Janjanin.
