Overview
The Leonkoro Quartet’s burnished tone, infinitely subtle phrasing and feeling for dramatic contrasts have earned acclaim for the Berlin-based ensemble, not least from the great pianist, poet and author Alfred Brendel. ‘This quartet,’ he notes, ‘is already one of the finest: perfectly unanimous, colourful and original.’
