Programme

First half to include works for voice with tape, fixed media and electronics, and new works by Laure M Hiendl, Yvette Janine Jackson, Jessie Cox, Corie Rose Soumah, Amadeus Julian Regucera, Olly Wilson and Loré Lixenberg.

Interval

Second half to include works for solo voice with live electronics inspired by Elaine Mitchener's debut album Solo Throat.

Overview

The unexpected is to be expected whenever Elaine Mitchener makes music. The Wigmore Hall Asssociate Artist is joined by fellow sound explorers Shamica Ruddock and Pat Thomas to celebrate new work, including five new compositions supported by Wigmore Hall, and create an all-encompassing aural experience based on her compositional ideas.
