Overview

James Ehnes, widely regarded as ‘the Jascha Heifetz of our time’, unites three contrasting works in his latest Wigmore Hall recital. The Canadian violinist and his long-standing duo partner, Andrew Armstrong, journey from the melodic brilliance of Mozart’s K454 and yearning nostalgia of Elgar’s E minor Sonata to the ineffably beautiful soundworld of Ravel’s Second Violin Sonata.
