Overview

Uruguayan-Spanish tenor Santiago Sánchez, whose early career credits include winning second prize at the 2024 Wigmore Hall/Bollinger International Song Competition and selection as a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, marries Schumann’s exquisite songs of love with Finzi’s beguiling settings of verse by Thomas Hardy. He crowns his lunchtime recital with seven folk-inspired canciones from Spain and Latin America.
