Overview

Now at the height of his phenomenal powers of musical artistry and expression, Nikolai Lugansky returns to Wigmore Hall for the first in a multi-season series of concerts. Hailed by Le Monde as ‘one of the most outstanding artists of our epoch’, the Russian pianist begins with seminal works of the Romantic repertoire, opening with Robert Schumann’s beloved Kinderszenen before unlocking the astonishing contrasts of emotions, textures and colours contained within Chopin’s Preludes.
