Piano trios from leading conservatoires across the UK will compete for the First, Second and Audience Prizes of the CAVATINA Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition. This is a great opportunity to watch and support young musicians in the early stages of their professional careers. In 2026, the ensembles will be performing Schumann’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor Op. 63.
The Competition is dedicated to CAVATINA’s founders, the late Pamela and Simon Majaro, and is supported by a legacy from Simon Majaro’s estate.
