    Overview

Known for the glorious refinement of its music making and collective emotional impact of its playing, the Basel Chamber Orchestra ranks in company with the world’s leading ensembles. It is joined by Vilde Frang, a kindred spirit whose daring artistry and musical intelligence are built on the foundations of her phenomenal technical command. Bach’s two concertos for solo violin are framed here by exuberant works from Mendelssohn’s youth and Grieg’s thrilling Holberg Suite.
