Overview

Christian Gerhaher’s duo partnership with Gerold Huber stretches back more than 35 years, to the baritone’s student days at Munich’s Hochschule für Musik und Theater. Their creative rapport, underpinned by countless hours of preparation and study, can be heard in a programme of Lieder that spans the gamut of emotions, from Beethoven’s rapturous responses to love and nature to the spinetingling drama of Wolf’s 'Der Feuerreiter'.
