Overview

Yunchan Lim’s meteoric rise began in 2022 when he became the youngest ever winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and has been confirmed since with a succession of revelatory concert performances and recordings. He explores the world of Romantic fantasies this lunchtime, framing Schubert’s sublime Fantasy Sonata with the fleeting moods of imposing works by Chopin and Robert Schumann.
