Programme

Overview

Thanks to the Leonkoro Quartet’s committed advocacy, Henriëtte Bosmans has found a new audience. The Dutch composer’s profoundly moving String Quartet, completed in 1927, provides an engrossing preface to Robert Schumann’s Op. 44 Quintet, with Igor Levit taking charge of the work’s virtuoso piano part.
