Overview
Danny Driver’s Variations Series explores the myriad ways in which composers have built works great and small by varying often simple thematic ideas. For his second concert in the series, Danny Driver's programme includes Lili Boulanger’s enigmatic Thème et variations and ends with Robert Schumann’s majestic Symphonic Etudes, with its breathtaking series of variations on a theme by Baron von Fricken.
